How to Reduce/Change Desktop icon size in Windows 7

Learn how to reduce the size of your Windows desktop icons if the video resolution is already on the highest settings.

Click the blank space of the desktop, hold down the Ctrl key and scroll down using mouse wheel. Scale the desktop icons until they’re fix your size.

36 is a default (medium size) value.

Fix “The application (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again”

Google play app was accidentally uninstalled in HTC Evo 4G LTE. When users try to reinstall they getting error message like “The application (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again”.

Reason for the issue : Playstore can’t be normally remove from your phone unless you rooted you Android phone.

Fix 1:-

If you rooted your phone and have root access, properly install the proper gapps (all google product apps that are preloaded into a single package ) you need to be install in it recovery.

Fix 2:-

  1. Remove battery & SD card
  2. Then put battery back in your Phone
  3. Turn on  your Android phone.
  4. Then reset phone and wait till phone is fully reset
  5. Now remove battery and put SD memory card back in phone
  6. Put battery back in your phone and turn on phone

Fix 3:-

If you have root access use root browser app to delete the folder for com.android.vending

Located in  /data/data/com.android.vending.

Then try to re-install Google play store.

Windows 10: How to Turn Off Start Menu Blur

Are you annoyed with the blur transparency that windows 10 provides? Sadly there is no customization available.but you can get 100% transparent.

  2. Type “Regedit” and press Enter
  3. Find this path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize
  4. Double click the “Enable Transparency”
  5. Change the value to 0 (zero)
  6. Example:-
  7. Set-ItemProperty -Path HKCU:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize -Name EnableTransparency -Type DWord -Value 0
  8. Confirm your change.

Windows 10: “GWXUX has stopped working”

When Windows 10 users turn on the Reservation program and try to click something it shows error message like “GWXUX has stopped working”.

Fix 1 : Remove the update

GWXUX.EXE program was installed via Windows Update KB3035583.

Do a System Restore to a time before this error message began appearing.   Then navigate to Control panel -> Uninstall programs and remove the particular update.

Fix 2: Run Windows Update Troubleshooter.

  1. Press the Windows Key.
  2. Press  search bar.
  3. Type “Troubleshooting” without the quotes and Click on Troubleshooting.
  4. Press View All and then click on Windows Update.
  5. If the issue still persist, refer to the below method.

Fix 3: Temporary solution

  1. Right click the Task bar and navigate to Properties.
  2. Click the Customize button in the Taskbar.
  3. When you see windows 10 change it to : hide notifications and icon.

Solution:-

  2. After your click the link, when it prompted, click Run.
  3. If you get a security prompt, choose Yes.

  1. Launch the start page and type “cmd”.
  2. Right click the command prompt and choose “Run as administrator”.
  3. Type the following commands and press Enter after each command.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

After you run these commands, restart computer and try the update again.

iOS 9: How to fix “Cannot get mail the connection to the server failed”

If you getting “Cannot Get Mail The connection to the server failed” error on your iPhone, iPod and iPad running under iOS 9 or iOS 8, learn how to fix this issue.

  5. Tick the check box ““Include inheritable permissions from this object’s parent”.

Solution No 2: Move email to different inbox

Move all mails from inbox to different folder or temporary folder (create the temporary folder on server)

Solution No 3: Change the  Account password

Change the Yahoo account or Microsoft Exchange email account password and check the problem.

Solution No 4: Reenter Password

This problem happened on your iPad  or iPad after you changed your mail password in computer or laptop.

On your iPhone or iPad, Navigate to  to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar  > Account  >Password.

Select the Password and enter  new password. Your iOS device might prompt you to sign into make this change. After  log in to mail account, it update email password and refresh mails.

Listen: Try 2 or 3 times if it does not bring the prompt,.

Other fixes:-

  • Enable and disable Airplane mode in your Apple device settings.
  • Delete the account and create it as a new account.
  • Reset Network Settings (Settings > General > Reset – Reset Network Settings)
  • Disable iCloud. Navigate back to mail acount and reset password.
  • Change the “Mail Days to Sync” field to “No Limit”.
