Block / UnBlock People On Facebook

If you want to unblock someone on FaceBook or block some bad guys? Here’s how to unblock and block people on Facebook.

Desktop Website (Mac or Windows)

Block Someone – Method 1

  1. Go to Profile the person you want to block.
  2. Choose the 3 dots icon next to the “Message” button. Then Select “Block”.

  1. Login your FaceBook account.
  2. Choose the arrow upper right corner and select settings from the drop down.
  3. On the left side panel, select “Blocking”.
  4. In the Block user section, add a “Name” or “email” in search box and click the “Block’ button.

Unblock Someone on FaceBook

If you want to unblock someone on FaceBook you already blocked, just click the “unblock” link next to the name of the person to allow see your profile again.

Popup box will appears. Click the “Confirm” on the dialogue box.

  2. Scroll down and choose “Account Settings”.
  3. Select “Blocking”.
  4. Type a “name” or “email” in search box  and choose the “block” button.

You can also unlock FaceBook users in “Blocked users” section by choosing the “unblock” button next to the person name.

  1. On the low right side of the screen, choose “More” button.
  2. Scroll down and choose “Settings”.
  3. Select “Blocking”.
  4. Search the person using name or email and choose the “Block” button.

Android App 

  1. On the upper right portion of the screen, choose the menu icon.
  2. Scroll down and choose “Account Settings”.
  3. Choose “Blocking”.
  4. Search the person using name or email and choose the “Block” button.

Also you can unblock Facebook users in the “Blocked users” section by clicking the “UnBlock” button next to the person’s name.

How to connect bluetooth headset to pc (Windows 8/7)

  1. Set your Bluetooth headset into pairing mode.
  2. On your computer, go to Start -> Control panel -> Devices & Printers.

How to pair a Bluetooth device with PC

Connecting your bluetooth wireless phone with windows laptop is called pairing. Here i am using blackberry curve to show how it works.

You can do this thing with any Bluetooth enabled headset, also the menu options slightly depend on mobiles.

Step 1: Ensure Bluetooth enabled on your smartphone. For Blackberry mobiles, select “Setup Bluetooth” app from the mail screen. Then select “Enable Bluetooth” after clicking menu button.

Step 2: I think you laptop comes with Build-in bluetooth adapter ( Or you can get the external Bluetooth adapter like this one, then plug into one computer USB port.

Step 3: Next setup Windows computer to allow Bluetooth connection. If your laptop comes wit Bluetooth, you can see a Bluetooth icon in Control Panel (Start button -> Control Panel).

Step 4: Double Click the Bluetooth icon. It will popup a Bluetooth dialog box. Select the option tab and make sure click the check boxes.

  • “Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer”
  • “Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer”

Step 5: Next select the Devices tab and press the “Add” button.  This will launch “Add Bluetooth Device wizard”. After verifying, your headset is setup and ready to found.

Step 6: Select your Bluetooth device and press Next to setup password.

Add your own custom password or allow Windows to select one for you.  Press Next and enter password in your mobile.

After you entered password in your mobile, Windows will finish the pairing process and your smartphone will be connected to PC.

If you want to send file from your computer to phone, right click the file and select “Send by Bluetooth to” option.  Then choose your phone as a recipient.

5 Ways to Fix White Screen on Mac

Mac Won’t turn on. It get stuck on white screen upon startup. MacBook Air, MacBook Pro or Mac Mini stuck on White screen because of the hardware or software problem.

Fix 1 : Start your Mac in Safe mode

Mac OS X 10.2 or latest version Mac OS X include Disk repair and checking feature. So try to start your Mac in Safe mode.

  1. Shut down your Mac system.
  2. Press the Power button while holding down the Shift button on keyboard.
  3. Release the Shift key after you see the Apple logo.
  4. After your macBook Pro fully starts, restart the computer  normally without holding any button during boot up.

Fix 2 : Run Disk Utility and verify/repair disk

  1. Shut down your Mac computer.
  2. Turn on Mac and hold the Command + R keys until you see the Apple logo.
  3. Then you should see the Mac OS X Utilities window.
  4. Choose Disk utility. Select your Mac OS X hard drive and click Verify/repair disk.

Fix 3: Reset PRAM

If you want to solve Mac boot failure problem, reset PRAM (parameter random access memory). PRAM stores some settings. To do PRAM reset,

  1. Turn off Mac.
  2. Turn on Mac and immediately hold down Option+Command+P+R keys until Mac system restarts. After Mac startup release the keys.

Fix 4: Try SMC Reset (Portable Mac with non-user-removable batteries – MacBook Air, late 2009 MacBook Pro models)

  1. Shut down Mac.
  2. Connect MagSafe power adapter to Mac and to power outlet.
  3. On built-in Mac keyboard, left Shift + control + option keys while you press the power button.
  4. Release all keys at the same time. You can see the power plug color change from red to green.

Fix 5: Reinstall Mac OS X 

If you can fix Mac white screen problem, then follow the #fix 2.

  1. Turn on Mac. Press and hold the Command + R keys until you see the Apple logo.
  2. Then you should see the Mac OS X Utilities window.
  3. Choose reinstall option.

5 Ways to Fix iPhone 6 Won’t Turn On or Charge

Fix 1: Hard Reset

Press and hold the iPhone Power button and Home button at the same time for 10 to 15 seconds until Apple logo appears.

  1. First connect your iPhone 6 to computer (Window or Mac) using USB cable.
  2. Launch  iTunes app.
  3. Press and hold the Home button and Power button together for 10 seconds.
  4. 10 seconds later, release the power button but keep holding the Home button for another 10 seconds.
  5. You will get alert about your iPhone in DFU mode on iTunes.
  6. Try to restore by click Restore button on iTunes.

Fix 3: Make sure your iPhone is fully charged

Some time this issue might happened because of the low phone charge. Connect your iPhone to wall charger  and try to turn on.

Also try to charge your iPhone using any other charger.

Fix 4: Clean the iPhone  charging port

Remove the dust and dirt from iPhone 6 charging port using toothpick or small needle.

Fix 5 : Take your Phone to nearest Apple Store

If you can’t fix iPhone 6 won’t turn on issue, check your iPhone warranty status. Extend your iPhone warranty coverage and take your mobile to Apple store.

5 Ways to Fix launchpad issue on Mac

Fix 1: Check scroll direction is natural or not

Go to Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Trackpad.

Select Scroll & Zoom tab and check Scroll direction set to natural. If it not set to natural, set it to natural.

Open Terminal app from Utilities folder or using Spotlight search.

Type or paste the following command in terminal.

defaults write com.apple.dock ResetLaunchPad -bool true; killall Dock

Check your Mac trackpad performance. Maybe this issue might happened because of the high CPU usage issue. Close Google chrome and remove unwanted files.

Fix 4: Repair or Reinstall Mac OS X

Check if your computer running slow or not? If you installed any other OS like Windows on Mac using bootcamp, then launch OS and check Trackpad performance.
